Wool Fever

In Lievelde, floats for the annual parade are decorated with wool. Two groups of children, the boys and the girls of the final primary-school year, compete for the prize. Preparations for the parade become a contest between friends and rivals.

Upside Down

Rudolf Hess’s 1941 flight to Scotland is retold through letters to his family and images of the Scottish sky. His account of the mission becomes a study of the distance between a private conviction and its historical consequences.
