Obada fled Syria as a child and ended up in the small Dutch village of Angeren, where he quietly built a YouTube following of two million subscribers with comedic Arabic sketches, beloved across the Middle East, barely known in the Netherlands. The film explores the tension between his father's expectations and his own dreams, and what it means to belong nowhere and everywhere at once. Selected for a Golden Calf at the Netherlands Film Festival 2021. Astrid Bussink served as script consultant on this documentary.
