We’re going in a van with some white balloons to Prospect Park where Matthew is doing a performance at this Bruce High Quality thingy to celebrate Brooklyn.

SCI FI JULY 3! The brother from another planet, 1984.
So this guy from Hair turns out to be an extraterrestrial slave who somehow happened to end up in the scary dark streets of Harlem. He only has 3 giant toes and is unable to speak, BUT makes up sufficiently by popping out his eye every now and then and groping people and objects with his telekinetic magic powers so they get fixed. Two Men in Black try to catch him and send him back to wherever the hell he came from. The pursuit on the streets of Harlem is carefully choreographed, the Men in Black, amongst whom the director of this little gem, hiss like rats while making elegant 80’s moves. In the mean time, The Guy from Hair tries to get some justice for some kid overdosing on bad drugs or something and he gets to shag this lady singer that he is really into. No idea where she went the rest of the film. Oh right, on tour. Thanks, Nick!

Wildlife NY! Look at those gor-geous animals we share the planet, and, in our case, kitchens with. Unfortunately that goes for the rats, not the cute little albino squirrel. Although seriously, it’s a little odd that a bushy tail makes you so much more loved by humans. Also, some nice cliché postcard pics of NY and some rooftops. Just because it’s sunday. Enjoy!

Basically, when Sarah is around, people are more than happy to be photographed! Magic… Thanks Sarah, that was fun! x
Yesterday, astrid and i spent the day at prospect park and the little italian festival in williamsburg, where i was helping her with her “constructions of happiness” project. until this point in time, she was finding it outrageously challenging finding families willing to participate, and i offered to help thinking it might be easier. maybe it was just the change of location (out of
nannycentral park) that made it better but we totally lucked out and met some incredibly wonderful families! we were throughly exhausted after hours of running around but it was a truly great success!xo
